Message Completed the swap in mid July and finished up a few details this weekend. Thought I would share a few of the details.

Here's how I dealt with mounting gauges. Fuel pressure, Boost and EGT. I have dual EGT probes mounted and am working on a micrcontroller circuit that will monitor both probe and display the highest. It will record both channel peaks and display them on the gauge by pressing a button and allow for manual switching between channels for diagnostics.

After reading here about the improvements gained by adding larger SMIC's it occurred to me that there are two main factors in IC cooling efficiency. Surface area and airflow. I was then very surprised when during the course of the swap to see how obstructed the driver side IC exit was with the carbon canister and radiator overflow. Also there did not seem to be a good way for air to exit the compartment after flowing through the IC so I added these vents. Several others have expressed interest so I am making up additional sets which I will be able to sell for $50.00/set. (email me if you want a set)

This is the obligatory engine bay shot. Yes I know it is not super clean. I drive this car every day and can't handle the excess stomach acid from worrying about a spotless engine bay.

The IC ducts... I like both the US and JDM facias. But I prefer to spend on things like boost controllers and fuel pumps rather than a new fascia when my NA was so nice. I actually think this looks sort of "Trick" and like it very much. (Thanks Barry'z). I am pondering painting the screens black or maybe body color for a sort of stealth look.

Hey, thanks for looking. And extra thanks to all the gurus who have contributed to this site and the FAQ's. Having this resource made everything from the AIV/PRVR/CC/Plenum line deletes to the installation of the AVC-R simple and understandable.
